Outbound Architecture served as the Architect of Record for White Sparrow Café, a small-scale commercial tenant improvement in Newport Beach, California.
The project transformed an office space into a new cafe. As Architect of Record, Outbound Architecture developed the permit drawing set, coordinated with consultants, and helped navigate plan check comments related to accessibility, occupancy, layout, and health department requirements.
The scope included architectural documentation, code coordination, ADA review, consultant coordination, and permitting support for the café’s interior build-out and exterior patio area. Working within a limited footprint, the design focused on clear circulation, functional back-of-house planning, and a polished customer-facing experience.
The result is a small but carefully considered café space that balances operational needs, regulatory requirements, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
